昌平中高の姉妹校 The Scots School Albury に滞在している3名の生徒も、現地での生活が後半に差し掛かりました。当初は、会話のスピードについていくことに苦労する場面もあったようですが、日々の授業や友人との交流を重ねる中で、少しずつ聞き取れること、理解できることが増えてきています。Buddyとの関係も深まり、放課後の活動も含め、現地での学校生活を楽しんでいる様子です。今回は、滞在の折り返し地点を迎えた参加生徒のレポート(第二弾)をご紹介します。

I’ve been in Australia for two weeks now, and I’m getting used to school. At first, I couldn’t understand my teachers because they spoke so fast, so it was hard to understand the class. I still don’t know some words, but I can understand much more than before. I’m also joining the class more now. I’ve become good friends with my buddy, and we ask each other questions and teach each other Japanese and English. After school, I play tennis and go shopping, so I have a really good time every day. For the next two weeks, I want to get better at the things I couldn’t do well, enjoy my time in Australia, and learn more from this experience.
